"Sex in Heaven!"

As a few people have further written us about the concept of "Sex in Heaven", after reading the page on our Heavenly Paradise Site which deals with that subject, we decided to publish some of the sincere questions people had (in blue!), and the answers to them, that we were inspired with. (in black) It may or may not be of interest to you.

NARROWING THE SUBJECT: "IS THERE SEX IN HEAVEN?"

You say it is a new spin! It is actually a very old Biblical spin, that sad to say has gotten severely lost between the selfrighteous rubble of the rabbis and the fear of the pharisees and narrowminded churchians, who automatically frown on the sexual freedoms of God's People, of Adam and Eve, Ruth & Boaz, Queen Esther, King David, Samson, Solomon, Moses and the sexual capers of Lot's daughters, Judah & Tamar, and almost all of the patriarchs. And why? Because many confuse spirituality with abstinense, a-sexualness, rather than equating spirituality with just oldfashioned obedience to Jesus' Law of Love and not to forget: Mark 16:15! But OK, it may be a new spin, in the sense perhaps that "there is nothing new under the sun." Nevertheless, concerning the subject "Does Sex equal Sin?", check this link please, as that's another big subject!

Right! I don't know how people could love for improper reasons, that of course being silly semantics, but true whatever is done in LOVE, is a fulfillment of the law! Again another subject; "Which sexual relationships are lawful in this life?" and: "Which in the next life?", with different posible answers. This involves the Law of Christ versus the Laws of Moses! This, the LAW of LOVE is treated on another page. Again, on this page we merely treat the subject, "Is there sex in heaven?"

NO NEED FOR SEX IN HEAVEN???

You are partially right in that there is NO NEED in Heaven for SEX! To qualify that statement I include a link to Dr. Peter Kreeft on the subject of Sex in Heaven, as I subscribe to quite a bit of what he writes on the subject.
But to explain further: In heaven there is "no need" for walking, as angels and spirits can float and fly, or even instantly translate themselves to other places. So yes! There's even "no need" to fly! But they do fly There, when for example they want to enjoy the scenery during the trip! And they float! And they can still walk even, in their spiritual and resurrection bodies! But it's true, that they don't HAVE to! Here we NEED to walk, unless we stay seated or are carried around all day! We are BOUND to! But There we are free from it, as well as from many other things! Eating, drinking, eliminating, disease, death, sweating, tiredness, weight, smellyness, etc. and thus from washing, showering, going toilet, laundry, house cleanup, etc.
So, true! We won't HAVE to eat in Heaven, because we CANNOT die! For the same reason we don't NEED to breathe, drink and exercise! But I believe that ALL THINGS are possible!—Especially There!—And that we CAN if we WANT to! Just being liberated from the necessity of many earthly things, does not necessarily negate their existence! And there might be yet another kind of need for those things!
After His resurrection, Jesus ate, walked among, and talked with His disciples! As "we will be like Him", we will be able to do so too, especially during the imminent Millennium when we will have to "become one" with the natural survivors of the coming nuclear holocaust in order to properly rule them, and be able to walk, talk, eat and drink etc. with them—our subjects—as Jesus did with us, when He walked the earth! And why not?
In the following natural reaction of many, lies the whole quintessense of the matter at hand!—Why should we not make love with our subjects as well? As "the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men!" What is wrong with sexual relationships?
The natural instant reaction of most Churchians here, is: "No way! A pastor shouldn't make love with his fold! Jesus never made love with Mary Magdalene! That of ALL things is naughty wicked! Sin, sin, sin!"
And why is that the natural reaction of religionists and even a lot of normal "moral" people, who would never voice as strong a rejection of say: "Let's send our boys to kill Saddam Hussein and his people!" (So much for the righteousness of "normal, moral" people and most religionists!) "But SEX? NO WAY!", they say, "Sex is by definition WRONG!" "Sex is immoral", "Sex is a necessary evil!" Which is a lot of ballyhoo and holy bullshit! SEE: "Does Sex equal Sin?

EARTHLY SEX IS AN ILLUSTRATION OF HEAVENLY SEX
I agree that Heaven is pure bliss, in that we will have shed the weight and limitations of the flesh. And I agree that there will be things there that far outshine the pleasures of the flesh!—To be specific—the pleasures of the Spirit, of which earthly Sex is an illustration!—Spiritual orgasms, which, by the way, can even be experienced in this life, when given from Heaven!
We will have, and are promised, Spiritual intercourse with our Bridegroom—Jesus—when we will join Him in Spiritual Matrimony! Our earthly SEX is a mere object lesson, a flannelgraph, a photocopy, an illustration of the REAL SEX Overthere! Heavenly sex! As the little girl asked her Mommy, "Can you eat candy while making love?" Ha! It's more a matter of priority rather than abolition! Do you get the drift?
You need to understand, that not only GOD is not averse of sex, neither that He frowns upon it, but that He GLORIES in Sex, as God Himself made SEX the greatest physical thrill in life as illustration of the SPIRITUAL thrill that He has in store for us! And that everything on this earth is merely an illustration of spiritual realities! Especially SEX! The main thing that is on every human's mind! The thing they so euphemistically sing about in most of their songs! Love and its physical expression: Sex! In fact God's nature is pure sexual in itself, in that God—the Trinity—is male and female!

EVEN IF NO HEAVENLY NEED, WILL IT NOT BE DESIRED IN HEAVEN AT ALL?
Jesus promised us, that He would "drink the fruit of the vine with us" in Kingdom Come! His wording was very specific: "the fruit of the vine!" In other words: "Make no mistake! Physical wine!" So that no one could spiritualise His Words as some kind of spiritual heavenly nectar, or just an allegory of something else! Wine!
So even if there is no need for Sex in Heaven, as we won't have to procreate anymore to keep the human race going, who "owns wisdom" that, while we can drink wine in Heaven, we couldn't furg* there if we wanted to? Huh? If we can drink wine, eat fruit, walk, talk and swim, why couldn't we love, kiss, cuddle and make love as well, if we feel like it? [* "to furg" is an ancient, polite Anglo-Saxon form and action verb!]
A lot of people come with this thing, that we will be "as the angels in Heaven", and that we "won't be given in marriage anymore" [dealt with in the page before!], but we've already seen that that does not mean that there will not be males and females—as many NDE's indicate—nor that there will be no relationships, nor sexual engagements!
Actually, when you take into account the nature of many relationships in this life, there is a whole lot of improvement to be made, before it gets abolished, if ever? Heaven will be a place where we will confess our mistakes, forgive each other our failures, and where we'll have to make up for our mistakes here. And what better way to make up than having a good love-up together! And not only that, but sex will not be impaired as it often is on Earth, by impotency, frigidity, tirednes, headaches, television, handicaps or churchy hang-ups, or whatever!
As the cripple will run There, and the blind will see, as the deaf will finally hear, so the sexually needy, impaired, deprived or frustrated, will furg There with gusto! I believe it with all my heart! Even if only once in their life! Ha! Just to know what was missed!

WERE THE SONS OF GOD EVIL OR GOOD

Didn't mean to disappoint you, but I feel that religionists and Churchians often make a comedy of errors of our most holy faith which was delivered unto us, by their blind, bigoted, narrowminded, pre-conceived, often pagan, prejudiced interpretations of the Holy Scriptures! Also I warned them to not enter my site, as they wouldn't agree with the contents. Neither did I write for them, I wrote for the children of God scattered abroad, that are lost out there! Those who are largely offended by narrowminded Churchians, because of their vindictive love (or should I say idolatry?) of the Law, justice, punishment, judgment, condemnation and the like, shutting up the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven from those whom we should be reaching with Love, tolerance, reason, equity and real righteousness and gold faith, which is a GIFT of God, and not a product of our own self-made spirituality or moronic obedience to "the law!" "Faith which works by Love!"

The men who gained these wives, whether than seen as becoming ungodly, were considered the heroes of this new generation. That is my interpretation. The giants, I find, aren't important in this. Besides -- if angels conceived giant children with regular human women, would the human women not be killed in the birth, if not the pregnancy? >>

We are not only called, but we ARE the Children of God!--If we have received Jesus! I think yours is an interesting interpretation. And I respect it as such, as I DO believe in freedom of religion, even if it is not mine, as long as that religion doesn't stand in the way of sharing His love with the lost and reaching them with it. Like Jesus blasted the Churchian leaders of His time to Hell, when they got abnoxious with Him, and confused His sheep!
You have as much right to your interpretation as I have to mine, but I am sure you are tolerant enough to respect that I like mine better? Ha! I even go along with some of your views that the wickedness of man was even expressed in those early Genesis days in the flesh even! It says that Cain even had a mark on him. But I think those days are passed now, although it also says that "He beautifies the meek with salvation!"
Wickedness is primarily in the heart and in the spirit. But yes, the offspring of Cain was probably infected with the sins of Cain, but to go so far as to say that the sons of Seth were the sons of God, just by birth, because Seth was a child or "Son of God?" That goes a little too far for me. It is true that Seth's offspring began to call upon the Lord, so they must have been a bit more righteous than the other side of the Family. But to say that he was a "son of God" by birth, or that "Sons of God" means all righteous males, and that women were then by definition wicked? Ayai! That smacks of male chauvinism!
Besides, all descendents of Seth, except for Noah's immediate family, disbelieved God's message and spurned their salvation, the Arc, and drowned in the flood as well!
"Sons of God" is mentioned in the Bible 11 times, 6 times in reference to Children of God by faith in the New Testament, but 5 times in the Old testament, 3 of which are in the Book of Job, where they came before God and
Satan came among them, and once that they shouted for joy together with the morningstars at the creation, before the foundations of the Earth were laid. So 3 times that couldn't refer to flesh and blood people, but only to the angels. Also the word in Hebrew is usually translated as angels or messengers. So the meaning of "angels" would be the preponderance of the scriptures.

1John 3:2 "Beloved, NOW ARE we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is."
Luke 20:35 "But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: 36 Neither can they die any more: for they are EQUAL unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection."
"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the {sons of God} saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose."

I think that the "sons of God" are different from the "men" above, in that they were more than "men" who already had multiplied, obviously also with the "daughters" of men! And as far as the giants, if they weren't born from non-giants, then there must have been two human races, one Giant Adam and Eve and one normal size couple! Giants are still born of normal size people today, as they are small at birth.

INTERPRETATION OFTEN BY PRECONCEPTION RATHER THAN BY PREPRONDERANCE!
But no matter what the real truth may be, interpretation of the Word of God by many Churchians nowadays and in the past, has always been very sex-phobic! They are afraid of that part of God's creation, just as afraid as Adam and Eve became after the FALL, of their penis and vagina! Which explains soooo well, what the FALL was really all about! It was about SEX and SIN! They began to think that SEX was the SIN! And THAT was precisely the lie of the Devil, as he was trying to scuttle God's plan from the very beginning, by attacking God's command to "be fruitful and multiply!"
That was what the REAL sin of disobedience to Gods Word and the evil knowledge of Satan had lead them to believe and think! And that is why especially religious churchians are still stuck in the FALL, even though many of them claim to be liberated from sin, they really are not where they perpetrate sin as their fleshly religious thinking that Sex equals SIN! Which it doesn't! Sex is great! As far as we, the Children of God, are concerned, we are liberated from sin, as much as Adam and Eve were before the Fall! They were fruitful by multiplying! They were at it every day! How about you?

I would put it different: I believe that the bliss of Heaven is very sexual, as the nature of God Himself is very sexual!

Your interpretation of the passage in Genesis 6 regarding the sons of God and the daughters of men is a bit out of context: 1 Cor 5 & 6 outlines God's position about that action; and then following along in Genesis, God proceeds to wipe out those people from the face of the earth. I suspect that this is the origin of the mythological (little g) gods and goddesses and people like Persephone, Perseus, Atlas, and Hercules.
God clarifies his intent for his gift of sex and tells us how to get maximum enjoyment from it throughout his Word. In today's society man is hell bent on doing it his own way and is getting floored with things like STDs, child abuse, spousal abuse, rape, and murder. Yep, I'd say these sons of God were the angels that fell along with Satan. When we get to heaven we will be united with God, the same one who invented sex. And as sex was made for this earthly world I'll bet there's something even better waiting in heaven!>> Wyett

Dear Wyett, Thanks for your letter! Fun hearing from you! So glad you are a sinner! Welcome to the club! Ha! I trust that you are a saved one though! Glad for you, that you were looking into having sex purely for pleasure, as that is what we do. But thank God that he made procreation so pleasurable, no? Are you a Catholic? I agree that there will be a much greater "thing" in Heaven than sex, of which sex is merely THE illustration! The marriage unity is THE illustration of the unity of the Bride of Christ with the Bridegroom at the Wedding supper of the Lamb, after the return of Christ! The physical orgasm is merely THE illustration of the bliss and fulfillment, that is indescribable in this 4-dimensional world, of the pleasures with Christ to COME! We are ALREADY one in Him and the Father and the sons of God by faith, IF we have received and believed on Him, but WILL be in our Heavenly flesh and bones after the imminent resurrection!
Jesus, after His resurrection, ate, talked, walked, flew and almost hugged Mary Magdalene, in His resurrection body! Our resurrection bodies will therefore ALSO be able to eat, drink, walk,fly, hug and do all things that we enjoy now, including making love! But, we won't have to! Because Heavenly beings, don't HAVE to talk--with their mouths--as they communicate through direct thought transfer! They don't NEED to eat or drink, as they cannot die anymore, they don't HAVE to walk, as they can fly and teletransport at the speed of thought, as distance is non-consequential in Heavenly regions! But we CAN if we WANT too! What if you'd like to stroll slowly through the Heavenly City with your loved one, like you "used to" on Earth? And then in Heavenly City park you suddenly feel like gently laying her? You won't be able to then? I'm sorry for you!

The POINT is, that Sex is not SIN, and has its place in Heaven, although true, it is outshined by UPDATED Heavenly pleasures! I have Windows 98, but I can still use Windows 95 if I would want to, and actually my friend is right now still using Windows 3.11, as it is an old computer! Poor guy! The trouble is that while some people DO believe that Heavenly sex is going to be free and wonderful, here on earth they think that SEX is sinful by nature, by definition, by principle, and severely limited! THAT's why some people get so shocked when they read these pages! If I had only made the point that we can eat in Heaven, people wouldn't write me any letters! Because that isn't a big deal! "Yeah! SO WHAT! We eat here too!" They wouldn't think twice! But SEX! "HO! STOP! WAIT A MINUTE! SEX and HEAVEN? That doesn't compute! That is like comparing the kitchen with the sceptic tank! No no no! Incompatible! Cannotdo!"
The reason for these preprogrammed conditioned reactions (mainly from Churchians!) is the erroneous teaching and conditioning that "sex equals sin!" "Naughty naughty!" Not in that many words, but in essence, in extrapolation, in spirit, in action, in fear! And this "Judeo-Christian" moral deception has so fully saturated Western society, so much so, that the wicked have rebelled by going all out the other way, into unnatural, violent, hurtful ways even and often a total disregard of the feelings of those involved, or the resulting children involved.

But anyway, we can't convince anybody, if they prefer their way of thinking! Because, That is how their faith goes! Like in the old days, dancing, short dresses, pants, using a piano in church, movies, etc. was considered sin! And if they thought that, then it was a sin for them! If you believe you can only have sex for procreation, and not for
pleasure--although I wouldn't know how to do that! Ha!--you'd better have procreation on your mind all throughout the entire sex session and stop immediately after your seed emerges, or it will be a sin for you! As the Word says: "Whatsoever is not of faith, IS SIN!" And "He that sins, abides not in the house forever!" "But if the SON shall set you free, you shall be free indeed!" (John 8:31-34) As Paul says, "happy is the man that condemns not himself in the things which he allows!" That does not imply that "anything goes", because anything does not go! But it means that "we are justified by faith!" Not by obedience to the law anyway! The law was only necessary to wake us up to our fallen state! But it cannot set us free! I respect your views on Genesis 6, as I believe in freedom of religion, but in case you enjoyed this, I'd be happy to discuss that next time. PS: Concerning the "sons of God" being "devils" in this case because they made love with the "daughters of men", is perhaps borrowed from an apocrival book, the "Book of Enoch!", which I did read, but which I personally do not accept as the Word of God! Who knows maybe it was written by Satan, to make sex even more evil than he had made it already?
