Revelation 5:5 "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." Revelation 22:16 "I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star."

Yet the Bible indicates that in the latter days, Jesus is going to "set up" a "David", a "servant David", a "prince", a "king" (not capitalised), a "shepherd", a "witness", "leader" and "commander to the people". Revelation says that Jesus even holds the "key of David."

So!--Keep your eyes open for a true David, who leads the Children of God, in the latter days! Not an earthly political Israeli king David, as the Antichrist will be made, but a spiritual shepherd, who will lead God's sheep towards the King of Kings, the Lord Jesus!

Ezekiel 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
Ezekiel 34:24 And I (Jesus!) the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.
Ezekiel 37:24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
Ezekiel 37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, [even] they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
Hosea 3:5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
Mark 11:10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that comes in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
