23. LAST RESURRECTION & WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT!

White Throne Judgment of the Dead

Books AND the Book of Life are opened

The Earth and atmosphere are recreated!

A new Earth and a New Heaven Forever!

When the Millennium has expired, and after this climactic Battle of Gog and Magog, all "unsaved" dead of all millennia and all ages, will be resurrected for the final Great White Throne Judgement! All of these former inmates of Hades, will finally be raised from Hell, from under the the Seas and under the Earth. They will stand before God Himself in the final Judgement in which "the books are opened", and they will all be given their final sentences "according to their works" and be assigned to their final stations in the Heavenly Hereafter.
Now God doesn't only open their "
books"--or personal records, but also the "Book of Life!" WHY? To check it and thumb His nose at them, "Ha ha! You're not in it!"? Of course not! That Book of Life however, only contains the names of saved humans! Now some people maintain that it's because "the Millennium Saints are recorded in it, but as far as we understand, these faithful ones will and should be treated separately by God, in Heaven. It seems to us however, that He brings out that Book of Life to show how many of these wayward dead disembodied souls actually called on God and received salvation by faith while in Hell!--As "God's mercy endures to all generations!" This is also brought out by the fact that many of these resurrected "unsaved", who "were not written in the Book of Life" will be cast into the "Lake of Fire!" Revel. 21:8 But because we know that the New Earth--instead of being an immense Lake of Fire (as some teach)--will be populated by lots of nations afterwards, these "dead" were actually found written in the Book of life and must have therefore gotten saved!"--Yet with a different kind of salvation, as they are not (yet?) allowed inside the Holy City! Revel. 22:15
Hell comes from the Greek word Hades, which means the "unseen state" or the spirit world! Death and Hades--these stages or places of punishment--are then abolished and "
thrown into the Lake of fire!"--Meaning: the end of the Spirit World! Then the very worst wicked are also thrown into the Lake of Fire, which is the second death, where they will stay "for an age!"--As many ages as they deserve! Unless of course, this is symbolic of their total annihilation, but certainly not as some Churches teach: an endless and meaningless torturous "forever and ever!" Contrary to that spirit, God is certainly not a vindictive monster!--"God is LOVE!--Not willing that any should perish!" 2 Pe. 3:9

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revel. 20:10-15
