The Antichrist breaks the Covenant
Arms shall stand on his (AC) part The AC out-laws religions of faith
The AC sitting in the Jewish temple, stating that he himself is God!
Now whether this is the long foretold Russian invasion of Israel by "Gog" the AC already, may not be clear although very likely, but he certainly causes military action in the Middle East again, this time even inside Jerusalem and specifically inside the temple, as is written that "it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months", the last 3½ years! Rev 11:2 The AC will turn against the very Jews who installed him as their Messiah, and go his own way! He seems to take over Jerusalem and he takes their religion away by causing the Jewish "daily sacrifice" of animals to stop! He "pollutes" their Temple by erecting the Abomination of Desolation in it. He desecrates and sits in their temple, stating that he himself "is God!"
But he is not just fed up with Judaism, but stands up and speaks out against all religions of faith in the one true God, and specifically against Jesus Christ Himself! Daniel 8:11 He then forbids and outlaws all all the socalled "fundamentalist" religions, except of course his own new One World Religion of the worship of himself and Satan! Other Covenant co-signators who also act "against the Covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries, but the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits!" Daniel 11:32 That is God's promise for all His saved children who "know the Lord", that they will have supernatural strength. They will perform amazing and extraordinary feats, in order to survive and to save others as well!

place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was
given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression,
and it cast down the truth to the ground, and it practiced and prospered"

overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even
until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the

"And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute
the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice,
and they shall place the abomination that makes desolate."
