A new "Christlike" spiritual
leader arises who deceives the World to worship the AC!
The Beast "whose deadly wound was healed!"
As the Scripture clearly says that later, in the middle of the seven years, the AC will desecrate the "Sanctuary" by placing an "Abomination of Desolation" and that he will "take away the daily sacrifice", it can only mean that the Jews will first build their new Temple and altar, to even be able to start their old religion of Daily Sacrifice! So the AC not only gives the Jews official rights to the "Temple Mount" on Mt. Moriah (or the Moslim "Sharm el Sharif") in Jerusalem, where their ancient Temple stood until 70 AD, and where the Moslim "Dome of the Rock" Mosque stands today, but he also enables them to rebuild their Temple to resume their age-old ritual of animal sacrifice that was suspended for almost 2000 years! Therefore many Jews will receive and proclaim him as their long awaited "Messiah!"
During this time, after the healing of the "deadly wound", "another beast" is foretold to arise. He seems to be some kind of spiritual leader or "guru" whom the Bible calls "the False Prophet!" He is super-naturally empowered by Satan--or Lucifer as his worshippers call him--to do "great signs and wonders" like calling down "fire from heaven" to deceive the World in order to win them over to the AC! He will speak like the Devil and "exercise all the power" of the AC "before him." He's kind of like his P.R. manager, the executive arm of the AC, his "John the Baptist" "preparing the way" of the False Christ!" Thus this False Prophet starts a new "World Religion" promoting the worship of the AC and the creation of some idol or "image to the Beast!" Satan prepares the World's people through the False prophet, to the worship of himself as "god", by telling them to worship "the first Beast"--the Antichrist--"whose deadly wound by a sword was healed" because Satan knows that he's soon going to possess him! Clever Devil! So, "take heed that ye be not deceived" as Jesus explicitly warns us to watch out! Luke 21:8
"And I saw one of his
heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed:
and all the world wondered after the beast. And they worshipped
the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped
the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able
to make war with him? Rev.
13:3,4
"And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;
and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and
causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first
beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he does great wonders,
so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the
sight of men, And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the
means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the
beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should
make an image to the beast, which had the wound
by a sword, and did live.
