6. A MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT & A "HOLY COVENANT!"

SUPERPOWER WAR THREAT IN THE MIDDLE EAST OVER OIL, JERUSALEM, ISRAEL & PALESTINE INTERNATIONAL PEACE TREATY SIGNED!	Most likely after a World-threatening, potentially nuclear, Middle East conflict over oil, Israel & Palestine, involving Jews, Arabs, Muslims and Christians, as well as 2 superpowers which Daniel 11 calls the "King of the North" and the "King of the South", the Antichrist confirms or co-signs an international agreement called the "Holy Covenant" which rings in the Last Seven Years of Man's self-rule! This "Holy Covenant" seems to be a partly religious international peace treaty, which will be "confirmed with many!" The AC genius may come into fame, riding on a wave of World euphoria, by *masterminding* this 7-year peace agreement or "Covenant" promising the World "peace!" He may deftly settle the current Middle East crisis, by working out some delicate compromise between the Arabs and Israel, by internationalising the "Holy City" Jerusalem. This "Holy Covenant" most likely promises & garantuees religious freedom for Jews, Moslims and Christians alike, with free access for all, to their several holy places. He specifically enables the Jews to rebuild their ancient Temple on Mt. Moriah where it once stood until 70 AD, and where the Muslim "Dome of the Rock" Mosque stands today since 600 A.D. The very fact that the Jews will actually start building their Temple, can only indicate that they believe that their long awaited Messiah has arrived, as without his presence this would not be possible! Therefore scholars believe that they will actually accept the AC as their "messiah", and therefore he is most likely to be of Jewish descent but perhaps even from Arab background as well, as otherwise neither party would receive him! (Dan 11:21-25; Dan.9:27.) After the Covenant he will "work deceitfully and come up and become strong with a small people" and "scatter among them" the wealth. He may spread the enormous ill-begotten wealth of the International Banks among the poor 3^rd World nations, whom he might thus persuade to be on his side. He also "forecasts" or predicts his "devices"--his schemes?--against the strong powers of this world. And so, at this time or gradually from this time on, the AC will begin to lay the foundations of a New One World Economy, to be completed after 3½ years, in the middle of the Last 7 years, at the erection of the Image of the Beast!				"He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (7 years) Dan.9:27 "And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant." Dan 11:22 "And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. Dan 11:23 "He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strongholds, even for a time." Dan 11:24
