My Answer To Young Ju’s Questions
Hi dear Ju,
[BLACK=me RED=you]
Thanks for your letter. I’ll try my best to add my comments to the search of your girlfriend’s questions (and maybe yours? J )
Work for you! (I hope it’s not late at night, and I hope you don’t get the mail 3 times, cause I’ve some sending problems.) I had an interesting discussion with two friends yesterday while going out. We spoke about religion, about Jesus, God and sense of life. Helene, one of my best friends, brought arguments which give me food for thought. I’ll try to state her opinion.
Yes it is work, but if I can be of any help I do it gladly. But let me say from the onset, that life is a mystery! And so far I have never met anyone (except Jesus) that could give me even anything CLOSE to a satisfactory explanation of the mystery.

She is searching for sense.
Aren’t we all.
She is looking for answers.
Aren’t we all.
She read books from Sartre, Karl Marx, and knows in detail about Ghandi, Mother Theresa.
Didn’t we all.
She made up her mind about all kinds of ideologies, communism, Capitalism, Liberalism.
In the end, it all turns out the same. Hunger of might, self-seeking leads the powerful.
Didn’t most of us come to the same conclusions! Yes, power hungry and self-seeking!
Of the current political system she thinks with disgust. It’s nothing but protectionism. OF THE RICH. Again the mighty exclude the powerless.
In `The young king` of Oskar Wilde is written:
“‘The land is free,’ said the young King, ‘and thou art no man’s slave.’
‘In war,’ answered the weaver, ‘the strong make slaves of the weak, and in peace the rich make slaves of the poor. We tread out the grapes, and another drinks the wine. We sow the corn, and our own board is empty. We have chains, though no eye beholds them; and are slaves, though men call us free.’”
Aren’t we both king and weaver at the same time?
By nature we are all selfish, whether we be king or weaver, and a slave of our human nature, unless we are re-born by God’s spirit into His spiritual eternal Kingdom of love.
No possibility to change, Frustration, helplessness.
There is lots of opportunity to change. I find change every day. Some things are the same. Thank God, otherwise my nice bed wouldn’t be there when I am tired. But every day I meet new people, have new situations, new conditions, new challenges, try to conquer new ‘impossibilities’, make new friends, climb new mountains, cook new recipes, have a new opinion, a new take on life, a better way of doing things, a new girl to watch go by and look into her exciting eyes, new news to post on my site, new worlds to conquer, new countries to go to if I get tired of this one, new books to read, new music to hear, new wine to drink, new chances to take, new opportunities to create, new art to draw, new parts of the city to explore, etc. etc. There is LOTS of room for change.
Changing the world? Yes! I do every day! NOT the whole world, but one heart at a time, one soul born at a time, one mind to change at a time. See our powerpoint about changing the world, about the French shepherd planting trees in a dry barren area of Southern France. Get the point.
You see, Ju, life is a gift! It is not perfect, otherwise we wouldn’t learn anything. No ups and downs, we would get bored, no difficulties, we would not overcome! No sacrifices to make, we would stay selfish little piggies. No mountains to climb, we would get flabby in our spiritual muscles, and die of boredom.
In earlier times she dreamt of becoming a politician but now she realised the senselessness of working for a system which would damn her ideas.
We, in our so far so good richer and better off state of living in a developed country, are a privileged class of people who even get to have time to think or dream about such things. Imagine the millions of slave workers in China, and Mexico, Columbia, Peru, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc, pumping out NIKE shoes or Adidas bags for us rich guys, then you realise that we have very little to complain about.
We ‘rich’ have much more free time to think and philosophize about politics than these poor people working for a dollar a day, who have no chance of becoming politicians, because of political ignorance and lack of education!
And though we are so blessed, we even find time and reasons to complain about our privileged state!
I don’t know what kind of ideas she has that would be so certainly damned by the system, unless they are pretty close to ours, but normally, with run-of-the-mill socialist, leftist, globalist ideas of a new world order you can go pretty far into the political system without being damned.
It is only when you have conservative ideas to save your nation that are not supported by the mainstream media powers, that you get murdered by secret service, as happened to a certain politician from Karinthien in your country.
Jesus? She is doubtful. What for? He states nothing else than others.
Wow! Now there is a statement. He states nothing else than others????
Wow! Reminds me of the story of the pompous man who said to a French bishop,
“Bah! What Jesus did is nothing special! Anyone could start a religion like that!”
Quipped the French bishop, “Oh yes! You just have to get crucified and be raised from the dead the third day!”
He assures us that His suggested way is the only right one and that all other ways are wrong. Where is freedom here? He generously gives us the option to choose. But to choose between what? Isn’t He actually saying: Either you come to me or you are going to be condemned?
The freedom and majesty of choice! THAT’s where and how exactly we were created “in the image of God!” CHOICE!
If He had made us all into good little robots who could only say “YES SIR!” all the time, we wouldn’t be independent human beings equipped with free choice.
If He was a visible God, looking over your shoulder all the time, checking up on what you were getting into, you wouldn’t have any choice either. You’d be cowed into obedience for the wrong reasons, out of the wrong motivation. Now you can believe that He doesn’t exist and do your own thing, or you can believe that He does, as there is no immediate proof supplied either way.
My goodness, even when 500 people were gathered together in the presence of Jesus after His resurrection, it says that even then some doubted. But He has lots of patience with the doubting Thomas-s, as you remember from the story, I am sure.
Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
He wants us to take the path which He already “planned” for us. We should act according to His will for it’s the best for us. Freedom??
YES! FREEDOM! Because you don’t have to do it. He invited people to follow Him. He never forced anyone. Remember the rich young ruler who wanted to follow Him?
LUKE 18:18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none [is] good, save one, [that is], God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
Aren’t also the Muslims, the Jews, the Atheists fully convinced that their thinking is the only right one?
YES! They ARE! Isn’t it wonderful? You could right now create your own little religion and make yourself into some god or prophet or holy cow or something, and get people to follow you, like so many have! The world is filled with holy men, prophets, and ALL kinds of religions, and creeds, and groups, and cults and sects, and orders, and convents, and they all have some truth, otherwise no one would follow or believe them. And they get away with all kinds of things, and with the weirdest doctrines, and it is all possible. Until today! Because the time is coming soon that only the worship of Satan is going to officially be the only legal religion in the world, and ours and all the others are going to be outlawed. So yes! Freedom of religion is a wonderful thing. And as long as everyone respects the normal civil code, they should be allowed to have freedom of worship.
God is definitely not in the habit or mindset of creating a theocracy during this age of grace, like Constantine did more or less. God wants that freedom of choice. So he doesn’t get any “forced” believers. He likes volunteers! Wouldn’t you? If you were God? Would you have or like people to follow you against their will? No! Of course not! God is smart enough that that won’t work! Like the saying goes: “A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still!”
Isn’t everybody making up his own little “truth”? If you believe in something. you’ll find more and more “proofs” that it is right. Self-fullfilling prophesy, autosuggestion.
YES! They are! Everybody aims for what he wants. Like the Crusaders wanted the Promised Land when Zionists suggested it to them, and so they went for it, “in Jesus” name! They made wars and finally conquered the “Holy Land” for a while, until they lost it again to the Arabs and/or the Turks.
YES! That’s why Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, THERE will your heart be ALSO!” In other words, like the donkey craves the carrot, he will walk after it. Everyone who has a certain goal in his heart, will go for it. If your treasure is MONEY, your heart will go after it. If it is power, sex, Lamborghini or Porsche, career or Rice-pudding, or whatever, your heart will make a bee line for it in the long run. That is the beauty of this life. You can do anything you set your heart to obtain. Whether you get it or not is the question, but in principle there is freedom to do so.
BUT, not everything will make you really happy, or bless you with happiness, friends, family, love and kindness, freedom, etc. etc.
People do a lot of auto-suggestion. I do! Every morning I tell myself to go to school! Even if often I hate to go! Because if I don’t go, I don’t learn! Simple! Auto suggestion! The sacrifice of getting out of bed early and beating the weather to go to school, even though I often hate to learn, I like the ultimate result. Get it? But actually it is not soooo bad to go to school. It’s easier than to have to go to work in the post office and to have to lick stamps 8 hours a day! Ha!
Self-fulfilling prophecies are also helpful. I swear to myself that I will go and visit this or that person on that day, and lo and behold, it exactly turns out that way! HA! As if I planned it! A total miracle! Well, I am kidding of course, but I’ll tell you, if it isn’t God’s will, I am sure that it won’t happen at all! I have that much faith!
On the other hand, what you don’t know doesn’t exist for you. What you ignore doesn’t exist for you either.
YES! True! A lot of people have never heard of Jesus. (That is why I became His disciple. See?) And they have no clue about any Heaven, or Eternal Life, or spiritual realities like ghosts, angels, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, etc. and they don’t even miss it. But they all have an empty religious spot in their heart that God created Himself for Him self to fill. And they all try to fill that hole with “PAI PAI”, and burning incense at the temple, and going through some ceremonies, or rituals to somehow satisfy that spiritual desire for an answer to the mystery of life. And others don’t. They don’t care about spiritual things and live a total godless, materialistic existence.
Furthermore, what she is searching for, is neither eternal life, nor everlasting happiness nor somebody who forgives her. She asks for the “why”. Why am I here. A “why” which, she thinks, can’t be answered while going the “one-way-road Jesus”. A deeper sense of life! Can be found where?
Well, what can I say to her, if she is not searching for everlasting happiness? And she doesn’t like to live in eternal immortal bliss? Nor to be forgiven for her mistakes and the hurts that she caused others?? What can I say?
Is she perfect? She never hurt anyone? She never degraded, looked down on anyone? She never wholeheartedly lied through her teeth, and hurt someone’s confidence? She never yelled, shouted, verbally abused anybody, making the other person cringe, wishing they were dead instead of facing such abuse? She never cheated on her faithful trusting boyfriend? She never made it hard on her mother or father or grandmother, or brother or sister? Or girlfriend? She never did any of those things? She never stole other peoples properties, making those people wonder if justice and fairness still exist? She never condemned anyone for a small mistake? She never verbally abused some unsuspecting soul who really didn’t deserve such a tongue lashing? She never flew into an uncontrollable rage and left someone devastated? She never misjudged or gossiped about someone, leaving that person without defence? She never patronised any souls? Never arrogantly despised or ignored a gentle soul who needed love? She never treated anyone unfairly?
Yeah, well in that case. I guess she is like perfect Job in the Bible, who was so good, that God had to release the Devil on him to make him see that he was ONE SELF RIGHTEOUS LITTLE BITCH, that neither loved anyone nor God himself. Even Job finally got the point and eventually said “uncle” to God.
I am not sure if I rightly commented her opinion, her (maybe also my) questions. I hope I could formulate everything in a way you understand and maybe also can give us some ideas, advices, suggestions.
I can give suggestions perhaps, but my “WHY I AM HERE” maybe different from the “WHY” that she is looking for. Perhaps she wants to be a deafening success in the world like Angela Merkel (German chancellor), and doesn’t see an opportunity to make her dream come true. That kind of “WHY” I can understand, but I don’t subscribe to that kind of a “WHY NOT”!
Or if she wants to be like Michael Jackson, or rather Britney Spears for Gods sake, such a “WHY NOT” I cannot relate to either. I personally don’t want to be a success in a world where Jesus was a “failure”, if you get my drift.
I imagine you know “WHY” I am here in this life. It is my faith that makes me believe I am here to spread love, kindness, friendliness, salvation of sins, spiritual rebirth, and the gift of gratis Eternal Life and immortal bliss in the life to come. I can hardly wait for the next world. I am not afraid to die. I would only feel bad for Ling, if I died, as nobody else would much cry over me. Lets be realistic. Ha!
So that is my faith. I am not a socialist, leftist globalist that wants to secure a one world government of a “Brave New World” for a bunch of self-satisfied self-glorified international bankers. Sorry. I don’t believe in it, or them. I don’t believe in modern education that would make me secure a chair of professorship to brainwash little minds in universities. Nor am I that enamoured by money and wealth, that I would suffer pain and hardship to start a business to make my self rich. I don’t believe in it.
I have travelled the world over. That doesn’t satisfy either. I have firged girls, laid on beaches, danced dances, ate all kinds of food, watched endless TV programs that bore me to tears, watched endless Hollywood trash, and heard millions of songs. I DON’T BELIEVE IN IT. It doesn’t carry me over. It is not enough! I want real perfection. Something that thrills my soul, that encourages my heart, that sets me free, spiritually! That turns me on with idealistic thoughts and ideas. And all that I found in my master and example, Jeshua of Nazareth, the only One that never fought a war, never made money, never hurt anyone wantonly, never lived for flesh alone, never wanted to be king here, etc. He was perfect in my eyes, and I love Him, because He first loved me. I recommend this faithful, loving Man to anyone, even to your perfect girlfriend. Ha!
Well, I hope this helped somewhat. If it didn’t, just blame it on me, on my sinful little self that is not perfect enough to give all the answers. But at least I suggested the only perfect ANSWER MAN I know to you both, that can answer ALL your questions in time, and satisfy your deepest spiritual needs, because we are most of all spiritual souls on a pilgrimage in this god-forsaken world trying to make our way back home to where we came from.
A Heavenly World of bliss and love where all Near Death Experienced people would have wanted to stay when they went There for a short while or moment, because it was so peaceful, wonderful, miraculously beautiful, loving, kind, clear and full of inexpressible bright light, that if they would have had physical eyes, they would have melted in their cases.
They saw golden grass waving in the Heavenly breeze, colours that they had never seen before, hear music that they had never heard before, met heavenly beings that were so far out that they think back to these meetings every day of the rest of their lives. And most of all, all these people lost their fear of death, which is an amazing phenomenon.
Nevertheless none of them that I know ever felt justified to take their life in suicide, as they were all told that they had to go back for they hadn’t learned all their lessons yet.
This life is an assignment to make eternal progress. And I sure hope that your girlfriend and you both realise the responsibility you both have to your own souls, and to the heavenly loved ones that are on the other side watching you and rooting for you, as I am rooting for you here at my computer in the middle of the night at 2 AM, because I love both of you. Remember, GOD is LOVE.
I love you
Lu
PS: And Ling does too, who was woken out of her sleep frustrated by my incessant banging on the keyboard, yet happy when she found out why & that I was writing to Ju!
Why? Because she loves you too!
Bye for now!

She never made it hard on her mother or father or grandmother, or brother or sister? Or girlfriend? She never did any of those things? She never stole other peoples properties, making those people wonder if justice and fairness still exist? She never condemned anyone for a small mistake? She never verbally abused some unsuspecting soul who really didn’t deserve such a tongue lashing? She never flew into an uncontrollable rage and left someone devastated? She never misjudged or gossiped about someone, leaving that person without defence? She never patronised any souls? Never arrogantly despised or ignored a gentle soul who needed love?

"Support our Troops" is a high-sounding slogan designed to trick Americans into supporting unjust wars of conquest and occupation, much like the catchphrase "Our Country, right or wrong!" of the Spanish-American War of Mark Twain's time. There is nothing trivial about the cost of the illegal wars in Afghanistan and Iraq - in treasure and lives.
